Paul McCartney tour will hit Indianapolis, Milwaukee
Paul McCartney continues to slowly roll out dates for his "Out There" arena tour, with this round including stops in Indianapolis and Milwaukee, as well as second-nights in a trio of cities.
The legendary Beatle, who recently accepted a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, will take to the stage July 14 in Indianapolis, and the Milwaukee gig is set for July 16. Tickets for both shows go on sale Friday (4/19) Second shows were also announced in Orlando, FL (5/18-19); Austin, TX (5/22-23); and Tulsa, OK (5/29-30). In all three markets, tickets for the first evening sold out quickly.
The July 9 performance in Boston is also sold out, with tickets claimed within five minutes, making it the fastest-selling event in the ballpark's history.
More dates will continue to be revealed over the coming weeks, according to a press release.
McCartney's "Out There" tour will feature music spanning his extensive career, including solo work and songs from his time with The Beatles and Wings. The award-winning singer/songwriter will be joined by a backing band consisting of Paul "Wix" Wickens (keys), Rusty Anderson (guitar), Abe Laboriel Jr. (drums) and Brian Ray (bass/guitar).
