Brian Wilson adds summer shows with Al Jardine, David Marks to schedule
Brian Wilson and Beach Boys bandmates Al Jardine and David Marks will take on a short round of summer shows, accompanied by Wilson's long-time solo band.
The trio of iconic musicians with begin the week-long trek with a July 20 performance in Atlantic City, NJ, and wrap up July 27 in Apple Valley, MN. A one-off concert is also scheduled Oct. 20 in Los Angeles, CA.
The three Beach Boys, who reunited last year for the group's 50th anniversary celebration, will be performing without Mike Love. Love holds the legal rights to tour under the Beach Boys moniker, but decided not to continue the reunion outing. Instead, the singer has been touring under the band's name with Bruce Johnston and his established backing band.
Later this month, Wilson will lead the Rock N' Roll Fantasy Camp with legendary guitarist Jeff Beck. The four-day event takes place April 18-21 at Las Vegas' MGM Grand. More information is available at the camp's website.
