Medeski Martin & Wood to hit the West Coast

Jazz trio Medeski Martin & Wood will spend some time on the West Coast this spring, performing acoustic shows in theaters and music halls.
The two-week jaunt begins with an April 17 performance in Kirkland, WA, and moves down the West Coast, hitting major markets in Oregon, California and Nevada. The road trips wraps up April 27 in Solana Beach, CA. A one-off appearance June 23 at Wilco's Solid Sound Festival in North Adams, CA, is also on the books.
All shows will be fully acoustic, except for the April 20 gig in Davis, CA, and the April 26 show in Los Angeles.
Ticketing information is available at the outfit's website.
Medeski Martin & Wood haven't released a studio album since "The Radiolarian Series," a trio of discs that surfaced in 2008 and 2009. Last September, the jazz trio unveiled "Free Magic," an acoustic live set recorded in 2007.
John Medeski will unleash his solo debut entitled "A Different Time" April 9 via Sony Classical's OKed Records.
