Japandroids continue "Celebration Rock" push

Canadian rock duo Japandroids will spend the spring and summer touring the world and making theater and festival appearances in continued support of last year's "Celebration Rock."
The pair, comprised of singer/guitarist Brian King and singer/drummer David Prowse, will make a trio of U.S. festival appearances over the next week, beginning with a March 8 gig at New Orleans' Buku Music & Arts Project.
Mexico, U.K. and European shows follow before the two return to the U.S. for April 12 and April 19 performances at Coachella in Indio, CA. Eighteen markets from coast to coast are on the schedule, wrapping up with a June 21 performance at the Firefly Music Festival in Dover, DE.
Ticketing information is available at the pair's website.
Japandroids released "Celebration Rock," the outfit's second studio set, in June via Polyvinyl Records. The eight-track effort, which followed their 2009 debut entitled "Post-Nothing," peaked at No. 37 on The Billboard 200.
