Eagles unveil Las Vegas show, members set other gigs
On the heels of the premiere of their two-part Showtime documentary, classic rockers the Eagles will take to the road in one form or another this spring.
The four-piece band, comprised of original members Glenn Frey, Don Henley and Joe Walsh, as well as longtime bassist Timothy B. Schmit, will perform together March 23 in Las Vegas, after which the members divide and conquer. Walsh will join forces with Bob Seger for a nine-city run, while Henley has a couple solo theater tours along the East Coast in early April.
Tickets for the entire schedule of dates for the various members are available at the band's website.
In mid-February, a two-part documentary entitled "History of the Eagles: The Story of an American Band," premiered on Showtime. The iconic outfit worked with Oscar-winning filmmaker Alex Gibney and director Alison Ellwood, giving them permission to interview friends, enemies and current and former bandmates, according to the New York Times.
When asked by the New York Times if a new collaborative album is in the future, Frey didn't say no.
