Widespread Panic plans spring, summer return
Jam-rockers Widespread Panic will return next month from a year-long hiatus to crisscross the nation on a spring and summer run.
The Georgia outfit's spring portion of the trek includes several two-night performances, beginning April 9-10 in St. Louis, MO, and extending through shows May 3-4 in Whites Creek, TN. After a nearly month-long break, the sextet will return to the road with a June 1 appearance at Wakarusa Festival in Ozark, AR. The summer leg, which includes four consecutive nights (6/27-6/30) at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO, wraps up July 19-20 in Pelham, AL.

Widespread Panic took on their first-ever all-acoustic tour in late 2011 and early 2012, after which the group took a break. Their most recent studio album, "Dirty Side Down," hit retailers in May 2011 via their own Widespread Records.
