Bruno Mars will spend a large portion of the year on his "Moonshine Jungle World Tour," supporting his sophomore release, "Unorthodox Jukebox."

The Hawaiian-born singer/songwriter and recent Grammy winner will kick off the extensive trek June 22 in Washington, D.C. with his backing band The Hooligans. The North American portion touches down in 39 major markets, hitting arenas across the continent, including several Canadian shows. Ellie Goulding and Fitz and the Tantrums will divide up the tour as support.

A fall European leg has also been announced. That outing gets underway Oct. 2 in Belfast, Ireland, and extends through a Oct. 31 performance in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Mars dropped his sophomore studio set, "Unorthodox Jukebox," in December via Atlantic Records. The 10-track album, which features an array of producers, peaked at No. 2 on The Billboard 200 and at the top of the U.K. and Swiss Albums charts.

The effort's lead single, "Locked Out of Heaven," topped Billboard's Hot 100 chart for six consecutive weeks and landed in the Top 10 in more than 20 international markets.
