Paramore ready to tour behind self-titled set
Alt-rock trio Paramore will follow a stint on Australia's Soundwave Festival circuit with a U.S. outing behind its upcoming self-titled release.
The Tennessee-based outfit, comprised of frontwoman Hayley Williams, bassist Jeremy Davis and guitarist Taylor York, will first complete a few Asian stops before heading Down Under for a five-date run with the Soundwave Festival.
The U.S. portion of shows gets underway April 25 in Houston and hits theaters and clubs across the country through a May 16 performance in New York City.

Paramore its eponymous fourth full-length studio album April 9 via Fueled by Ramen. The 17-track collection marks the group's first without founding members Josh and Zac Farro.
"The whole making of this album was a rediscovering of ourselves as a band and as friends," the group explained in a blog posted at their website. "It was a process that allowed us the freedom to explore new territory artistically and to liberate ourselves as musicians, singers, as people! Sincerely, we feel that the best way to give it a name is just to call it what it is. This album is us."
Produced by Justin Meldal-Johnsen, the forthcoming album follows 2009's "Brand New Eyes," which peaked at No. 2 on The Billboard 200 and at the top of the magazine's Alternative Albums and Rock Albums charts.
