Bob Seger readies for "Rock and Roll Never Forgets" run
Bob Seger and his Silver Bullet Band are preparing for the first leg of their Rock and Roll Never Forgets Tour, which will take on parts of Canada and the western U.S. this spring.
The iconic rocker and crew will kick off the first portion of the trek with a Feb. 27 performance in Toledo, OH, followed by another 10 arena shows, half of which are Canadian stops. The current itinerary concludes April 2 in Denver, though more dates are expected.
Tickets for most concerts go on sale Jan. 19 at the band's website.
Seger, who was inducted into the Songwriter Hall of Fame last year, most recently dropped "Ultimate Hits: Rock and Roll Never Forgets." The double-disc compilation set contains tracks spanning four decades of his career, including hits "Old Time Rock and Roll," "Night Moves" and "Against the Wind," as well as two previously unreleased covers -- Little Richard's "Hey, Hey, Hey, Hey (Going Back to Birmingham)" and Tom Waits' "Downtown Train."
