Leonard Cohen routes more "Old Ideas" shows

Canadian singer/songwriter Leonard Cohen has added a second leg to his "Old Ideas World Tour," which will canvas North America into the spring.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer returns to the road March 2 in Oakland, CA, and works his way across the continent, including parts of Canada. The 19-city theater trek, which wraps up April 20 in St. John's, Newfoundland, features encore performances in New York City (4/6) and Chicago (3/13), as well as first-time appearances in New Orleans (3/28), Memphis (3/24) and Louisville, KY (3/30).
Tickets go on sale beginning Jan. 18 via Cohen's website.
Cohen unveiled "Old Ideas," his 12th studio effort, in January 2012 via Columbia Records. The album, which landed on NPR's Favorite Albums of 2012 list, peaked at No. 3 on The Billboard 200 and at the top of several European album charts.
In 2010, Cohen was awarded a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in celebration of his five-decade career.
