B.B. King launches 2013 North American outing
Blues legend B.B. King has not yet retired from the tour trail and will kick back up with the New Year, scouring the nation well into the spring.
The 87-year-old performer will begin the run with a New Year's Eve (12/31) performance in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and work his way throughout Florida before heading to the West Coast. The 37-city trek finishes up on the East Coast with an April 27 concert in Tunica, MS.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer's most recent studio set, "One Kind Favor," surfaced in 2008. In 2009, the T-Bone Burnett-produced album earned the blues legend a Grammy Award for Best Traditional Blues Album.
In October, a documentary about the blues icon entitled "B.B. King: The Life of Riley" was released. Morgan Freeman narrates the Jon Brewer-directed feature. More information is available at the film's Facebook page.
