Volbeat schedules wintertime tour of North America
Danish metal-rockers Volbeat have plans for a North American outing this winter in continued support of "Beyond Hell/Above Heaven."
Following a late February run through their native Denmark, the metal trio will begin the stateside journey with a March 6 performance in Dallas, TX. The club trek ventures through 25 major markets from coast to coast, wrapping up April 11 in Philadelphia, PA. A round of European festival gigs this summer are also planned.
Danko Jones will handle opening duties on the North American outing. Ticketing information is available at the outfit's website.
Volbeat released "Beyond Hell/Above Heaven," the group's fourth studio album, in September 2010. The collection topped the charts in Denmark, Finland and Sweden and marked the band's first set to chart on The Billboard 200.
Details about Volbeat's fifth studio album will be unveiled in the coming weeks, according to a press release.
