Down, Warbeast team up for New Year tour
Heavy-metal rockers Down will join forces with Warbeast for a winter outing dubbed "The Weed & Speed Tour: West Coast Throwdown in the Year of XIII."
The co-headlining trek gets underway Jan. 11 in Houston and works its way across the western portion of the nation. The 16-city trek concludes with a Feb. 1 performance in Chattanooga, TN.

Down singer Philip Anselmo and Warbeast will release a split album entitled "War of the Gargantuas" Jan. 8 via Housecore Records. The short set will feature two tracks from each artist, according to a press release.
Warbeast is also slated to release their sophomore studio effort, "Destroy," in early 2013.
