Kings of Leon re-emerge with European dates

Southern rockers Kings of Leon will take to the stage again for the first time since mid-2011 at a South American festival later this year, followed by a 2013 European run.
The rock family will first take part in Personal Fest, slated for Dec. 1 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, before kicking off a handful of European shows with two consecutive nights (6/12-6/13) in London. So far, six European stops are on the bill, and more are expected to be announced, according to the band's website.
Tickets go on sale Friday (11/9) via Live Nation and Ticketmaster.
Kings of Leon most recently unveiled "Come Around Sundown," the outfit's fifth studio set, in October 2010 via RCA Records. The effort, which peaked at No. 2 on The Billboard 200, earned a Grammy nomination for Best Rock Album.
Kings of Leon have been sidelined since calling off an in-progress U.S. tour in August 2011 due to frontman Caleb Followill's vocal issues and exhaustion, according to an official statement.
