Little Big Town takes "Tornado" on the road
Country vocal outfit Little Big Town are preparing to launch a sporadic winter trek across North America in support of their recently released "Tornado."
The four-piece Alabama band will begin with a slow start, kicking the outing off with a Nov. 29 performance in Los Angeles, followed by another four shows spread across the South before year's end.
Little Big Town will pick up the pace in February, completing another 28 North American concerts over the course of three months. The itinerary, which includes several Canadian stops, wraps up May 9 in North Charleston, SC.
Tickets for most dates go on sale beginning this weekend (11/2); details are available at the band's website.
Little Big Town unleashed "Tornado," the group's fifth studio effort, in September via Capitol Nashville. The set debuted at No. 2 on The Billboard 200 and has peaked at the top of the magazine's Top Country Albums chart.
The collection's lead single, "Pontoon," surfaced in April and marks the band's first No. 1 hit on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart.
