Trapt embarks on fall club run
Rock outfit Trapt will spend part of the fall on the tour trail supporting their re-scheduled release, "Reborn."
The California-based band kicked off the outing Wednesday (10/26) in Riverton, WY, and will keep up the 18-city journey through a Nov. 1 performance in Reno, NV.
Originally slated for a November release, "Reborn," Trapt's fifth studio effort, will hit retailers Jan. 22 via Epochal Artist Records. The album, which follows 2010's "No Apologies," will also be available in a deluxe version featuring five acoustic songs, as well as a never-before-released rendition of "Avelyn."
"With 'Reborn' we really wanted to use new sounds and textures as well as experiment with other techniques we have learned over the years or have heard in our influences," frontman Chris Brown said in a press release. "Lyrically, this album is as deep and thoughtful as any album that Trapt has done in the past."
The album's lead single, "Bring It," is currently available via iTunes.
