Garth Brooks wrapping up three-year "Best in Vegas" run
Country superstar Garth Brooks will wrap up his "Best in Vegas" residency next month after three years of scattered performances.
The award-winning musician has three more weekends' worth of gigs at Las Vegas' Wynn Resort, beginning this weekend (10/5-10/6) and continuing at month's end (10/26-10/27). The final two shows will take place Nov. 16-17.
Each date features two performances: one at 7:30 p.m. and another at 10:30 p.m. PDT. Tickets are on sale now via Ticketmaster.
"I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Wynn," Brooks said in a press release. "Mr. Wynn told me that the Wynn audiences were some of the best in the world and he was right. As for Steve Wynn, he is one of the smartest guys I have ever had the pleasure of talking to or listening to. He does everything top notch and is the easiest and best boss I have ever worked for."
Brooks came out of retirement in late 2009 to sign the three-year deal with Wynn. Earlier this year, Billboard, Nielson and Soundscan named the country performer the best-selling artist of the last two decades with 68.5 million albums.
