The Tragically Hip map "Plan A" outing
Canadian rockers The Tragically Hip will crisscross U.S. this fall behind their impending effort, "Now For Plan A," which drops next month.
The five-piece band, helmed by Gordon Downie, will begin the American trek with a Nov. 2 performance in Cleveland, OH, followed by club and theater shows scattered from one coast to the other. The 22-city outing is currently slated to wrap up Dec. 15 in Las Vegas.
The Hip are set to unveil "Now For Plan A," the band's 12th studio album, Oct. 2. The Canadian outfit recorded the effort at Noble Street Studios, as well as their own Toronto studio, Bathhouse Recording Studio. The 11-song set follows 2009's "We Are the Same," which topped the Canadian Albums chart and peaked at No. 148 on The Billboard 200.
The new album's lead single, "Streets Ahead," is now available on iTunes, and a video featuring another track, "At Transformation," is currently streaming at the band's website.
