Paul McCartney plots more "On The Run" shows
Paul McCartney will continue his "On The Run Tour" with a handful of North American dates later this year.
The legendary Beatle has confirmed four shows scattered across North America, beginning Nov. 11 in St. Louis and continuing on to Houston for a Nov. 14 performance. He will also make it to two Canadian cities: Nov. 25 in Vancouver and Nov. 28 in Edmonton.
Tickets for all dates go on sale Friday (9/14) via McCartney's website.
McCartney kicked off the "On The Run Tour" in July 2011 with a two-night stand at New York City's Yankee Stadium and has performed more than 30 dates since, across North and South America, Europe and the Middle East. The latest leg marks the first time McCartney has ever performed in Edmonton, as well as his first Vancouver performance since his 1964 appearance with The Beatles.
McCartney's most recent studio effort, "Kisses on the Bottom," hit retailers in February via the Starbucks-owned label, Hear Music. The 14-track set, which features covers of traditional pop songs, peaked at No. 5 on The Billboard 200 and at the top of the magazine's Jazz Albums chart.
