John Legend to preview "Love In The Future"
Grammy-winning crooner John Legend will spend some time this fall touring North America in support of his forthcoming new album, "Love In The Future."
The Ohio native kicks off the excursion with an Oct. 16 performance in Clearwater, FL, followed by casino and theater shows across the continent through late November. The 23-date outing, which includes one Canadian stop Nov. 3 in Toronto, concludes Nov. 21 in Oakland, CA.
Legend is slated to release "Love In The Future" in the coming months, though an exact drop date has not been announced. The forthcoming effort, which is co-produced by Legend, Kanye West and Dave Tozer, marks the R&B performer's fourth studio album and the first since 2008's "Evolver." That gold-certified collection peaked at No. 4 on The Billboard 200 and at the top of the magazine's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
