Joss Stone plots international course supporting second "Soul Sessions"

English soul singer Joss Stone has added some North American shows to her worldwide tour behind her summer release, "The Soul Sessions Vol. 2."
The singer/songwriter will first tackle a round of European gigs, beginning Sept. 5 in London and working through a Sept. 20 performance in Paris.
The North American leg gets underway a week later (9/27) in Vancouver and hits a handful of major markets -- mostly on the West Coast -- through the end of October.
More dates, including South American shows, will be announced in the coming weeks, according to Stone's website.
Tickets for the North American concerts go on sale beginning Friday (8/17).
Stone unveiled "The Soul Sessions Vol. 2" in late July via her own Stone'd Records. The 11-track effort, which contains live performances of covers recorded in Nashville and New York, peaked at No. 6 on the U.K. Albums chart and at No. 3 on the U.K. R&B Albums chart.
Stone's debut, "The Soul Sessions," surfaced in 2003 and topped Billboard's Top Heatseekers album chart.
