Guns N' Roses ready for inaugural Vegas residency

Iconic rockers Guns N' Roses will take on "Appetite for Democracy," their first-ever Las Vegas residency, later this year at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
Beginning with an Oct. 31 performance, the legendary outfit will perform a dozen shows at The Joint, all of which will feature a setlist unlike any performed before, according to a press release. The itinerary includes most Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays through Nov. 24.
The 12-show residency will include songs from their extensive discography, beginning with their 1987 debut, "Appetite for Destruction," and running through the platinum-selling 2008 release "Chinese Democracy."
Tickets, which start at $45 plus applicable fees, go on sale Friday (8/17) via the venue's website.
Earlier this year, Guns N' Roses completed an "L.A. takeover," which included performances in three Los Angeles clubs over the course of four days.
The outfit was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame earlier this year in Cleveland, but frontman Axl Rose didn't join his former bandmates at the ceremony.
