The Script plots outing behind "#3"

Irish rockers The Script will spend part of the fall canvassing North America in support of the their impending release, the aptly titled "#3."
The alt-rock trio will begin the U.S. run with an Oct. 9 performance in New York City before heading to the West Coast a week later. From there, the fall trek works its way east, stopping by theaters in 17 major markets before wrapping up Nov. 10 in Camden, NJ. The outing includes one Canadian concert, slated for Nov. 6 in Toronto.
Tickets for the tour are available now via the group's website.
The Script is set to unveil its third studio album, "#3," Oct. 9 via Epic Records. The effort follows the chart-topping 2010 release, "Science & Faith," and includes the lead single "Hall of Fame," featuring will.i.am, which drops Aug. 21.
"We thought it might make a great duet but we wanted to do it line by line, true duet style," O'Donoghue said in a press release. "It took several months, a headlock and a taxi cab to get Will on the song!"
Fans can pre-order the forthcoming album now at the band's website.
