Aaron Lewis tours ahead of "The Road"
Staind frontman Aaron Lewis has embarked on a full-band trek this summer ahead of his solo debut, "The Road."
The Vermont-based singer/guitarist will continue his in-progress outing tonight (7/3) in Odessa, TX, followed by a month of club, theater and casino performances in 19 cities nationwide. Two August dates with Eric Church -- Aug. 8 in Sturgis, SD, and Aug. 10 in Springfield, IL -- are also on the books.
Tickets are on sale now via the musician's website.
Lewis will unveil his long-awaited solo debut, "The Road," Sept. 11 via Blaster Records. The effort, which the artist co-produced with James Stroud (Toby Keith, Tim McGraw), will be available for pre-order, along with exclusive merchandise, later this month, according to a press release.
"I hope people hear the record and realize that this is all me," Lewis said in a press release. "I'm writing songs about who I am and where I am, just like I've done my whole career. The setting for the songs might be different but they're as honest as anything I've ever done."
The forthcoming full-length set follows Lewis' solo EP, "Town Line," which peaked at the top of Billboard's Country Albums chart last year.
