Old 97's tour behind 15th anniversary of landmark album
Old 97's will celebrate the 15th anniversary of their third studio album, "Too Far To Care," with a two-set summer trek across the U.S.
The alt-country outfit will kick off the journey with a Aug. 24 hometown show in Dallas before heading west. The 28-city tour includes a two-night stand Aug. 31 and Sept. 1 in Los Angeles, as well as a mid-October appearance at the Austin City Limits Festival, before wrapping up Oct. 29 in Nashville.

Those Darlins will provide opening support for the first half of the trek, after which Salim Nourallah will take over. Old 97's frontman Rhett Miller will also perform a solo set ahead of the band's set.
Each performance will feature the 1997 album "Too Far To Care" in its entirety, as well as a second set of fan favorites, according to a press release.
The Old 97's will release special 15th anniversary editions of the album this fall, marking the first time the set's been available on vinyl. More information about the special releases will be available at the band's website in the coming weeks.
