Norah Jones fills out trek behind "Little Broken Hearts"
With the European kick-off of her impending world tour just a couple weeks away, Norah Jones has extended the trek in support of her just-released album, "Little Broken Hearts."
The Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter will first tackle a handful of overseas shows, including two nights at London's Royal Festival Hall, before returning stateside for the June 20 start in Indianapolis, IN. Since last check, another 11 stops have been tacked onto the itinerary, which now pushes through an Oct. 23 performance in New Orleans.
Ticket sales for some of the new dates go on sale beginning Friday (5/11).
The songstress collaborated with producer/musician Danger Mouse (Gnarls Barkley, The Black Keys) on "Little Broken Hearts," which hit retailers earlier this month. Jones and Danger Mouse, who share songwriting credits on the album, met when Jones contributed vocals to Danger Mouse's 2011 release "ROME."
Jones' 2009 platinum-selling album, "The Fall," debuted at No. 3 on The Billboard 200 and peaked at the top of the magazine's Top Rock Albums chart.
