K.D. Lang hits the road this spring
K.D. Lang will be touring North America this spring and summer along with her band, the Siss Boom Bang.
The Canadian singer/songwriter and her outfit will kick off a theater run May 8 in Thunder Bay, Ontario and wrap it Jun. 5 at the Grand Opera House in Wilmington, DE. Beginning later that month, Lang and company are slated to play several summer music fests, including the Telluride Bluegrass Festival, the Vancouver Island Music Fest, and the Strawberry Music Festival in Groveland, CA.
Lang's collaboration with the Siss Boom Bang began with the album "Sing It Loud," which came out in April, 2011 on Nonesuch records and was followed by a world tour.
Lang has been putting out albums since 1984 and has won Grammys in three different decades for either pop or country vocals.
