Ozzfest adds weddings to its roster
Die-hard Ozzfest fans can tie the knot this summer with a unique ticket package that may be the first of its kind.
The Unholy Matrimony Package includes everything a happy couple would need to have their wedding at the concert, except the official marriage license.
The package, available for Ozzfest's Aug. 14-24 tour dates, includes: 10 general-admission pit tickets for the bride and groom and eight guests; an official Ozzfest wedding ceremony by the tour's MC Big Dave, an ordained minister; and an Ozzfest cake and champagne toast, according to a press release.
The couple and their guests will be able to enter the venue early for an exclusive pre-show backstage tour hosted by Big Dave. They also will receive access to the Ozzfest VIP lounge, specially designed Ozzfest tour shirts, collectible limited-edition tour posters, PIIQ-Bass Masq Earbuds by Sony and official Ozzfest guitar picks.
All of the couples will be eligible for a special Ozzfest wedding gift from the Unholy Matrimony bridal registry. The gift, supplied by this year's Ozzfest sponsors, will include a Monster Energy Refrigerator (with 12 cases of Monster Energy Drink inside) and a special ESP LTD Signature Series GUS-200. Additional details on the registry will be released in the coming weeks.
Unholy Matrimony Packages have already sold out for many dates on the tour. However, you are in luck if you want to get married Aug. 17 in Chicago, Aug. 19 in Pittsburgh or Aug. 24 in Boston.
