Jimmy Eat World preps for "Invented" run
Jimmy Eat World will take on a fall headlining tour throughout North America in support of its forthcoming studio effort, "Invented."
The alt-rockers, along with backup singer Courtney Marie Andrews, will begin the outing with a Sept. 21 performance in Atlanta, touching down in 15 major markets throughout the nation before wrapping up with the only Canadian stop, Oct. 17 in Toronto. The full itinerary is shown at right.
Civil Twilight will handle opening duties in Atlanta (9/21) and Asheville, NC (9/22), while We Were Promised Jetpacks will open all shows beginning in Los Angeles (9/29).
Pre-sale tickets will be available Thursday (7/29) at Jimmy Eat World's website, with general on-sales beginning Saturday (7/31).
The Arizona natives will unveil their seventh studio set, "Invented," Sept. 28 on Interscope Records. The album follows the group's 2007 release, "Chase This Light," which debuted at No. 5 on The Billboard 200.
