Paramore, Tegan and Sara kick off Honda Civic Tour
Alt-rockers Paramore and twin-sister duo Tegan and Sara are among the acts topping the bill of this summer's Honda Civic Tour , which gets underway this weekend.
The 31-city excursion, which kicks off tonight (7/23) in Raleigh, NC, will canvas the nation, working its way from the East Coast to the West. The ninth annual tour, which also includes New Found Glory and Kadawatha, will conclude with a Sept. 19 performance in Anaheim, CA. The full schedule is shown at right.
In conjunction with the tour, Paramore customized a Honda Civic Si Coupe and a Honda PCX Scooter, both of which will be on display at each tour stop. Fans can enter to win the two rides at the event's website.
The Honda Civic tour began in 2001 with Blink-182 in the top spot. The most recent outing occurred in 2008 and featured headliners Panic at the Disco with support from The Hush Sound, Motion City Soundtrack and Phantom Planet. Last year, the tour didn't take place.
