Aerosmith adds Canadian dates on the eve of tour launch
With the North American leg of their "Cocked, Locked and Loaded" tour set to kick off this weekend in Oakland, CA, grizzled rockers Aerosmith have confirmed a run of Western Canada shows.
The Canadian tour gets underway Sept. 8 in Winnipeg, and will make four additional stops in that country. The U.S. tour will hit about 20 cities through early September. Details are at right.
Sammy Hagar and the Wabos will provide opening support for 11 of the confirmed U.S. dates.
The schedule includes an Aug. 14th hometown show at Boston's Fenway Park, which sold out in a record 23 minutes earlier this year.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers -- who recently wrapped up jaunts through Europe and South America -- are celebrating their 40th anniversary this year.
