Saves the Day, Bayside join forces for co-headlining trek
Alt-rock outfits Saves the Day and Bayside will take to the road together for a two-month North American tour behind their latest projects, "Daybreak" and "Killing Time" respectively.
The venture crisscrosses the continent, beginning with a Sept. 20 show in Syracuse, NY, and running through a Nov. 13 performance in Towson, MD. In all, the bands will touch down in 37 cities, including four Canadian gigs in late September and two-night stands in Philadelphia (10/6-10/7) and Boston (10/8-10/9).
I Am the Avalanche and In Transit will handle opening duties for the co-headlining run. Information regarding tickets will be available via Bayside's website in the coming days.
New York's Bayside unveiled "Killing Time," the band's fifth studio effort but first with Wind-Up Records, in February. The rock quartet worked with British producer Gil Norton (Pixies, Foo Fighters) on the album.
New Jersey natives Saves the Day are promoting the Sept. 13 release of "Daybreak," the group's seventh studio set. The new material will mark the first since 2007's "Under the Boards," as well as the first to feature new members Arun Bali (guitar) and Rodrigo Palma (bass).
