Carrie Underwood to wed this weekend
When country singer Carrie Underwood heads back out on the road later this year, she'll be a married woman.
She and pro hockey player Mike Fisher will wed this weekend at the Ritz Carlton, Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, GA, about an hour's drive east of Atlanta.
According to a report on the Atlanta Journal-Constitiution's website, security will be tight for the nuptials, with waterways surrounding the resort to be closed and passes required for all visitors. The entire resort reportedly has been booked for the wedding.
Underwood will be back to work by the end of the month, when she's scheduled to play at Fairlea, WV's Greenbrier Classic with Brad Paisley. After appearing at a couple of festivals in August, she'll pick up her "Play On" tour again Sept. 25 in Portland, OR. Billy Currington and Sons of Sylvia have signed on to open the upcoming fall dates.
