Iconic rockers Motley Crue have added more stops to their major market U.S. run alongside Poison and the New York Dolls.

Since last check, five shows have been tacked on to the rock extravaganza, which kicks off with a May 29 appearance at Pryor, OK's Rocklahoma Festival. The road trip crisscrosses the nation, stopping by auditoriums, theaters and arenas in 42 cities before wrapping Aug. 7 in Omaha, NE. The full itinerary, including a South American leg, is detailed at right.

Poison and the New York Dolls will open most of the tour dates, with the exception of the July 9 show in Pelham, AL, and July 27 in Cheyenne, WY.

Motley Crue released the new dates as well as the tour's set design and fan-selected set list yesterday (5/1) at New Jersey's Bamboozle Festival. The set will be "a hard-hitting Crue rendition of a rock'n'roll burlesque theatre," according to a press release.

Motley Crue most recently unveiled "Saints of Los Angeles," the band's ninth studio album, which surfaced in 2008. The James Michael-produced effort debuted at No. 4 on The Billboard 200 and includes the hit single by the same name, which marked the group's second highest charting single of their 30-year career.
