Santana, Branch and Knowles will team up for a pre-game performance that will also feature 850 local dancers, according to organizers. Branch appears on Santana’s latest hit, “The Game of Love,” which was recently nominated for the Grammy award for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals.
The pre-game lineup also includes Celine Dion, who will sing “God Bless America;” and the Dixie Chicks, who will sing the national anthem.
At halftime, No Doubt and Shania Twain are due to hit the stage, while New Jersey rockers Bon Jovi will perform during the “post-game celebration,” according to the NFL.
Super Bowl XXXVII takes place on January 26 at San Diego’s Qualcomm Stadium. The game--as well as all the pre-game, halftime and post-game performances--will be broadcast live on ABC-TV.
