About 20 dates are planned, with Mario, Big Tymers and Lil Wayne in the opening slots, according to Nelly’s publicist.



After just three weeks in stores, Nelly’s sophomore album, “Nellyville,” was certified triple-platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America for shipping more than 3 million copies in the U.S. According to industry sources, nearly 2 million copies of the album sold during that period.



“Nellyville," buoyed by the hit single “Hot in Herre,” spent three weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart, and dipped to No. 2 on the latest chart.



“Dilemma," an album track from “Nellyville,” is currently the No. 5 most-played song at rap and crossover radio format, and ranks at No. 10 and No. 12 at pop and R&B radio stations, according to Airplay Monitor.

Nelly’s released his debut, “Country Grammar,” in the summer of 2000, and the album yielded three major hits. According to Universal Records, more than 9 million copies of the album have sold worldwide.
