Jewel has kept a busy tour schedule all year, even though she was sidelined in April after she was thrown from a horse in Texas and suffered a broken collarbone. She embarked on a European tour with her band just a few weeks after the accident, but was unable to play guitar for about a month.
She followed the European dates with a 30-city summer tour of North America, during which her full band joined her, before playing her first round of solo-acoustic dates.
Jewel is supporting her platinum-certified fourth album, “This Way,” which was released in November of 2001.
