After wrapping up a grueling 50-city spring-summer outing, Southern California rockers Incubus are preparing to visit dozens of additional U.S. later this year.
The band’s upcoming Morning View tour--named for the band’s platinum 2001 CD--runs from late August through November. About 40 dates were confirmed at press time, and more will be announced.
The Calabasas-based quintet recently wrapped up its headlining stint on the Civic Tour 2000, an extensive outing sponsored by the automaker Honda.
Incubus has released six albums over the last six years, breaking through with the multi-platinum 1999 release “Make Yourself,” an album that features the hit single “Drive.”
“Morning View” went platinum 10 weeks after its release, and the band’s recently released second DVD, “Morning View Sessions,” debuted at No. 1 on Soundscan’s DVD chart earlier this year.
