The tour will follow the Nov. 5 release of “Live from Folsom Field,” a two-disc set recorded at the band’s July. 11, 2001 appearance in Boulder, Colo. A concert film from the same show is set for release on VHS and DVD on the same day.
Dave Matthews Band’s summer 2001 tour was the fourth highest-grossing tour of that year, taking in about $60.5 million, according to Pollstar.
Matthews is scheduled to play a solo-acoustic show at Seattle’s Benaroya Hall on Oct. 24 to support the Bullitt Foundation, which works to protect and restore the environment of the Pacific Northwest.
