In Pictures: O.A.R. in Seattle

In 1996, while the members of alt-rock band O.A.R. (Of a Revolution) were still in high school, they had already managed to gain a following D.I.Y. style by using word of mouth, sharing their songs online and performing at hometown frat parties. The band's songs caught on at the local Ohio State University radio station, and the band began to self-release albums.

A decade and a half later, the band is still working hard. This year O.A.R. released a live set, "Rain or Shine," and the band reportedly is working on a new studio album. The group is on tour through the end of the year, and tonight (10/8) they will be at the McDonald Theatre in Eugene, OR. On Saturday (10/9) they will be at The Fox Theater in Oakland, CA.

SoundSpike contributing photographer Elisa Sherman attended O.A.R.'s show in Seattle on Wednesday (10/6), and here are some highlights.
