Morrissey pulls the plug on U.S. tour, citing health issues

Days after sputtering through a troubled West Coast run of shows that ended with a series of postponements, Morrissey has canceled the rest of his tour, citing his continued string of health complications.

The former Smiths frontman has most recently been battling double pneumonia, which forced the postponement of his San Francisco show. Earlier, Denver and Salt Lake City shows were rescheduled due to a bleeding ulcer.

With the latest announcement, all dates from the scheduled resumption of the tour March 18 in Lawrence, KS, through the re-routed San Francisco, Denver and Salt Lake City shows at the end of April are now canceled and refundable at the point of purchase.
