The Airborne Toxic Event, Ra Ra Riot confirmed for SXSW

The Airborne Toxic Event, Ra Ra Riot, Chris Carrabba, Cold War Kids, Robyn Hitchcock, The Joy Formidable and Richard Thompson are among the latest confirmed acts at the 2013 South By Southwest Music Conference.

SXSW features three portions: interactive (3/8-3/12), music (3/12-13/17) and film (3/8-3/16). The music part of the conference, now in its 27th year, will showcase more than 2000 acts from over 55 countries on 90 stages throughout downtown Austin, according to the event's website.

Two rounds of performers have been revealed over the last two months, and more musicians will be confirmed in January.

In November, SXSW released the news that former Nirvana drummer and Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl will deliver the keynote address March 14.

The keynote address is open to Music and Platinum badgeholders, as well as musicians performing at the conference.
