Though summer is barely underway, SoundSpike's tireless photographers have already logged time at a slew of festivals this year and turned out out plenty of great shots -- more than enough to warrant a look at some of their best work from the first half of 2012.
The shots we've selected to spotlight here were culled from the Hangout Music Festival in Gulf Shores, AL; the Ultra Music Festival in Miami; Rock On The Range in Columbus, OH; the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival; Coachella in Indio, CA; SXSW (South by Southwest) in Austin, TX; and Noise Pop in San Francisco. Some of the bands you'll see include Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, The Flaming Lips, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, and Madonna.
