The Rolling Stones will not be touring in 2012, but the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers are considering a one-off concert later this year to celebrate the group's 50th anniversary, according to Rolling Stone.

Keith Richards revealed in a recent interview with the music magazine that the iconic rockers will get together in London in July to discuss a possible celebratory performance, as well as the idea of a new studio album. "It's all very hush-hush," the guitarist explained.

"We're going to talk about that in July and see. I mean, I'd love to get some tracks down and see what songs we've got. And that goes along with part of getting the band back together and getting things moving. So I'd love to cut some tracks, yeah."

In April, the Stones rehearsed in New York and New Jersey, accompanied by a film crew helmed by director Brett Morgen. The footage will be used in an impending documentary in honor of the 50th anniversary, though the official release date has yet to be announced.

Earlier this week, U.K.'s Mirror reported the Rolling Stones would play their final performance at next summer's Glastonbury Festival, though representatives for the outfit have since denied the claim. A spokesman in the festival's press office told the Guardian that there's been no conversation with the group. "Everybody in the year off thinks they've come up with the perfect Glastonbury lineup. But at the moment there isn't anything to confirm or deny."
