The Paul McCartney "Up and Coming Tour" is adding dates and selling out shows in record time. According to the latest blog entry on McCartney's website, tickets to his Aug. 14 show at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia sold out in just two minutes.
A second show was later added at Wachovia Center for Aug. 15. "This record-breaking sell-out is a true testament to the timeless qualities of Paul McCartney's talents that have entertained music fans in Philadelphia for the better part of nearly five decades," venue manager Peter Luukko said.
Fans can look forward to two hours worth of songs from the Beatles, Wings and McCartney's solo Career. SoundSpike contributing photographer Tim Mosenfelder attended the tour's stop at San Francisco's AT&T Park on Saturday (7/10), and here are some of the highlights.
