Bob Seger, Kid Rock, The Pixies lead Orlando Calling festival lineup
Festival Republic, a U.K.-based promotion company with a long history of producing successful European rock festivals including those in Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds, has tapped The Killers, Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band, The Raconteurs, Kid Rock and The Pixies for their first U.S. festival, dubbed Orlando Calling
The two-day event, scheduled for Nov. 12-13 at Orlando's Citrus Bowl Park, will highlight American music on four stages with artists from a variety of genres including classic and alt-rock, hip-hop, country, jam and more.
Saturday's (11/12) concert will feature The Killers, The Raconteurs and The Pixies with support by The Avett Brohters, The Roots, Gogol Bordello, O.A.R., Iron and Wine, Pete Yorn, Jenny and Johnny, Gavin DeGraw, Drive By Truckers and Dr. Dog. Additional acts on Saturday will include Civil Twilight, Lucero, The Felice Brothers, Ben Sollee and Renee & the Translators.
Sunday's (11/13) festival will feature Blake Shelton, the Doobie Brohters, Warren Haynes Band, Dwight Yoakam and Buddy Guy supporting Seger and Rock. Joining the line-up will be Chris Isaak, Brandi Carlile, Robert Randolph & The Family Band, The Flatlanders and Los Lonely Boys.
The Nov. 13 show also will welcome Blues Traveler, Michelle Branch, Justin Townes Earle, The David Mayfield Parade and The Supervillains.
Tickets range from $80 for single day to $285 for the Weekend VIP ticket, according to the Orlando Calling website.
