In Pictures: Matisyahu in Tampa, FL

Matisyahu, America's premier Hasidic Jewish reggae/rapper, already had a pretty substantial fan base before he took the stage at Stubb's in Austin, TX, on Feb. 19, 2005, during SXSW. But following his epic performance that night, word spread like wildfire, and suddenly the mainstream was taking notice.

This month Matisyahu and his band Dub Trio are celebrating the release of their new documentary DVD "Live at Stubb's, Volume II," which dropped on Feb. 1 and represents a return to the spot where the band broke out. Tomorrow, he will perform the last show of his "An Acoustic Evening with Matisyahu" tour at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza in Thousand Oaks, CA. His next scheduled appearance will be on May 22, at Gulf Shores, AL's Hangout Music Fest 2011 along with Foo Fighters, Paul Simon, My Morning Jacket and Widespread Panic.

SoundSpike photographer Brad Moore was on hand for Matisyahu's concert at the Tampa Theatre in Tampa, FL, last night (2/13), and here are some of his best shots.
