Aussie rockers The Church have been enjoying something of a resurrection in popularity of late. Not only were they recently inducted into the Australian Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but their latest album, "Untitled #23," has received critical praise.

Other than the enduring hit "Under the Milky Way," the band has been flying under the mainstream radar in the U.S. for about three decades. But The Church currently is getting attention for the unique "Future Past Perfect Tour," which features performances of three of albums in their entirety. Shows open with 2009's "Untitled No. 23," followed by 1992's critically lauded "Priest=Aura" and 1988's breakthrough, "Starfish."

Wednesday night (2/2), the guys kicked off their tour at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles. SoundSpike photographer Micah Smith was among the guests who attended the show, and here are some highlights.
