Wu-Tang Clan, Tyler the Creator and Big Krit will take the stage at this year's Rock the Bells Festival, along with the holographic images of fallen hip-hop icons Ol' Dirty Bastard and Easy-E.
Hip-hop pioneer and activist Murs, in conjunction with Guerilla Union, have set up a collaboration between old-school and new-school for their upcoming festival featuring headlining acts the Wu-Tang Clan and Odd Future.
Hip-hop outfit Wu-Tang Clan will hit both coasts in the coming months, bookending the holidays with theater shows ahead of a still-untitled studio set.
Wu-Tang Clan kicked off the U.S. leg of their winter tour, dubbed "Rebirth," last week at the Mezzanine in San Francisco courtesy of Never Dying Productions. According to the band's website, the itinerary will hit no less than 25 major cities from coast to coast.
The West Coast leg of Guerilla Union's 7th Annual Rock the Bells Festival wrapped Sunday (8/22) in Mountain View, CA. Next stop: Governor's Island in New York City this Saturday (8/28), followed by the Washington, DC-area's Merriweather Post Pavilion on Sunday (8/29).
