March 26, 2012 - For dance music lovers, Miami was the place to be this weekend (3/23-25) when the annual Ultra Music Festival hosted in excess of 160,000 fans who packed into the city's Bayfront Park.
February 11, 2010 - Damian Marley & Nas, David Guetta and Orbital have been added to the 2010 line-up for the Ultra Music Festival. They will join previously announced headliners Tiesto and Deadmau5 at the two-day electronic and alternative-music festival, set to take place March 26-27 at Bicentennial Park in Miami, according to a press release.
February 13, 2009 - The Black Eyed Peas will join previously announced artists for the Ultra Music Festival, scheduled for March 27-28 during the Winter Music Conference in Miami, according to a press release. The band's appearance will precede the release of "The E.N.D.," the Peas' first original album since 2005's "Monkey Business."
January 8, 2009 - Merle Haggard, who underwent lung surgery in November, plans to hit the road harder in 2009 than he has in 20 years, according to a Reuters report. Haggard said a bout with lung cancer will not get in the way of his touring and recording plans.
